First Robotics is looking for 30 volunteers to help support multiple events in early spring 2024. Judging typically occurs Friday and Saturday.

Back by popular demand, SWE is sponsoring and staffing an activity on buoyance again this year. Delta College sponsors 600-900 middle school age girls to come on campus for a day engaging in STEM activities and events. Materials and activity content provided; energetic volunteers to help coach, encourage and lead students through the challenge are needed. SWE is seeking members to volunteer half-days and full days to help facilitate. Contact Jennifer Larimer j.larimer@dow.com to volunteer.
Also, back by popular demand, SWE is sponsoring and staffing an activity to help with the Children’s STEM tent at the Bay City Pride Festival in June. Volunteers are needed to help run and explain the different STEM activities at the tent’s location during the festival. Contact SWE Mid-Michigan for more information.
Camp Infinity is a series of week-long sessions that introduces girls to computer and internet technologies through hands-on activities. Each week of fun is held on Mondays-Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in various locations throughout the state. MCWT expert instructors will guide your child through a range of engaging activities that will spark their imagination and creativity.

SWE’s annual conference is the largest conference in the world for women in engineering and technology. Last year, over 21,600 people attended. The conference includes workshops, keynote speakers, awards, and a career fair. Employers will often fund conferences for employees, especially if they are accepting an award or speaking. If you are interested in attending, please send us an email.
